Lauren is coming to us as a nurse from the Emergency Department, where she has worked for the past 2 years after moving back home from the East Coast. Prior to becoming a nurse, she owned her own business as an Esthetician in NE Portland, offering skin care and other services for three years before moving to Rochester, NY for nursing school. She did not fare well in the cold winters there and, as a native Oregonian, was pulled back to her friends and family here. Lauren has been passionate about skin care and healthy aging practices since she was young. She got her first degree in Anthropology in cultural studies, where she focused on centenarian communities and cultural practices of longevity.

Lauren approaches skin care holistically, focusing on a person’s natural features to enhance what they already have. As an esthetician, she learned that nothing replaces the human touch and meeting face to face with someone to hone in on what matters most to each person long term, and creating a personal routine that matches each person’s lifestyle. Lauren provides hydrafacial and skin peel services as well as IV therapy. She is constantly researching and listening for new services to offer and is always interested in growing her repertoire.
